12/15
One month after Jason and I set the mixed-gender FKT, we wanted to lower it. Our conditions had been a little muddy and sloppy in November, so we set out when the ground had hardened.
Weather: Perfect! 30 degrees, sunny and cloudy
Trail conditions: Really great in patches, icy in others
Gear: Exospikes, watch, phone, running vest to start (Which was left in the car after mountain #1), 1 liter of tailwind consumed
Order: Coney, Goodman and Arab
Jason and I had a great day. It was a little challenging to get in a good flow state with the ice, but we had solid uphill times and made it down each mountain safely. Got stuck behind some slow trucks in Tupper Lake and seemed to hit every red light, but in the end it all worked out and we were able to snag the overall time. Shannon put down a great effort!
Afterwards, Jason and I went to a really cool thrift store in Tupper Lake. It was a perfect mountain day.

I think the Strava activity is missing for this!
