Wowsers... That was intense - and the hardest thing I have ever attempted. In fact it was my second attempt - I tried in November and ended that attempt in the fetal position under a tree crying around the 89km mark.
There was blood, sweat, tears, blisters and there was also elation, smiles, happy tears and laughter!
Self supported - I had placed bags near each carpark of each main mountain with resupplies. The initial bags still had lovely frozen water! Such a welcome relief during a 35 degree day!
Toolbrunup and Talyuberup were both in total white out clouds - and everywhere else it was sunshine and hot!
The solo effort was really hard!! no-one to cheer me on, or encourage me when I was bone achingly exhausted or slightly delirious and forgot how to follow a directional arrow!!
