Brandon McCluskey's Dobson Trail (2025) FKT Attempt
After running recently with Mark Hemmings who currently has the Supported Fastest Known Time with Dean Mercer on the “Dobson Trail (2025)” official route. I heard about the route and he told me to give it a shot.
I set out from the official start near Riverview, New Brunswick at 8:27am October, 24th 2025 and arrived at the finish with a total elapsed time of 7hours 38minutes and 15seconds. The morning dew made the terrain very slippery. I filled up my Salomon flasks at several brooks along the way and brought 8protein bars and 6gels. The route was recorded on my Garmin watch. At a different time of year I think this trail would be more enjoyable but it was very fun to run the trail and set the Unsupported Fastest Known Time on the year of the 65th anniversary of this trail.
