Located in the Fundy Trail Provincial Park, the Fundy Trail Pathway runs from the parks western entrance near St. Martin’s, New Brunswick to the iconic Big Salmon River. This crushed rock multi use trail follows along the Bay of Fundy coastline and offers amazing views of Fownes Head, Flower Pot Rock, Melvin Beach, Fuller Falls, Pandburn Beach, Black Point, Big Salmon River and more passing many lookouts and observation decks along the way. The route travels the NB Trail and Trans Canada Trail with connections to the Fundy Footpath and many other shorter hiking trails.
Leading up to the Mastadon Rumber trail race, this route made for a great training run with tons of elevation gain. I was fortunate enough to set the Fastest Known Time on this beautiful route. Running alongside the Fundy coast is always a pleasure.
