On Sunday, May 17th, 2026 I was on Grand Manan Island waiting to start work on a lobster boat. I checked out some local Strava segments and found the White Head Island Tour as well as a local runner named Eli who was on the leaderboards for a different local segment. I reached out to him to join me on a short 4km ferry ride off of the island to White Head to run this segment. This small island was very scenic and the perimeter loop was a great mix of terrain from old roads, beaches and ATV trail forming a continuous path. It was a lovely sunny day exploring a new island in New Brunswick.
