FKT: Brenda Fortin - Walkabout Trail Orange Loop (RI) - 2022-09-24

I was driving to SE Ma through RI to help my sister move this day when I discovered that she’s actually moving the next day, so on a whim, I decided to do an FKT route since I was in the area. This course is very rocky, rooty, muddy, windy, and littered with mushrooms, and is relatively flat with a few short inclines. It was easy enough to follow the orange blazes, except for a few places (one in particular where I ran back and forth for a few minutes trying to locate where the blazes disappeared to). It ended up being a beautiful sunny afternoon here, while it was 41*F when I left my house from western Ma. Since this was last minute decision, and a short run, I didn't bring anything with me in regards to water or nutrition.
