Walked the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail with my wife during the week and loved it so much I decided to run it. A really enjoyable trail run, albeit technical and challenging in places (especially high tide route and potholed limestone along the cliff). My wife crewed me and met me at 5 different places.
Rangers were all good for me to run it so long as I had a satellite tracker and checked in/out with them. Had already done the induction, so didn't need to repeat it.
Still had to soak up the view and stand around looking for the illusive platypus in places. The little punt across South West River was fun. Only saw 2 hikers and one other runner doing a jog from a nearby resort. Perfect day for it albeit a little warm in the arvo.
