A group of five women from the Trail Run Tribe, our all-female trail running group based out of Ohiopyle, Pa., ran the Que Trail together for a group FKT. We started around 10 a.m. in the morning and took our time on the loop, maintaining a relaxed, talking pace, which we love to do on our runs together! It'll be fun to come back to better our time as a team one day. A dip in the lake afterward felt awesome. My watch clocked our run at 15.05 miles, while in my two unsupported, solo FKTs here, my watch has clocked 14.something. It seems the slower I go, the more mileage my Garmin picks up, and the faster I go, the less distance the watch clocks. This is just something to keep in mind. The Que is an easy, flowy, well-maintained, single-track trail most popular for mountain biking. We ran it in the counter-clockwise direction, which is how I ran the two solo FKTs in 2021. The elevation gain/loss is the same in both directions.
