A wind storm from the previous year has lead to many fallen trees. Full-on bushwhacking until you reach Cache Peak. Gorgeous Ridge Walking to Nowlin Peak. More tree fall until you meet up with the end trail. We had to take a detour to cache creek in order to refill water. We found a little more water from snowmelt beyond Cache Peak, although this water would be gone late season.
