I am dealing with an achilles injury since a few months, so I was really looking forward to this incredible nice route. To celebrate my first real trailrun in some time I wanted to run it together with my husband Chris and our dog Lumi.
We started quite early ~7:15 am, but it was already pretty hot. Lumi doesn‘t like the heat, so we took some brakes and water stops.
I would recommend to start earlier as we already got stuck in groups of hikers.
