We started bright and early in the morning at 6:46am. Perfect weather throughout the entire time, nicely overcast.
The beginning of the route requires quite a bit of route finding if you follow the exact GPS file that is provided in the initial description. Start early to avoid any mountain bikers. We believe that this FKT is rather a seasonal route, as many sections are currently very overgrown with wildflowers and high grass. To protect the wildflowers we tried to use as many established trails as possible while still summiting every single peak. The connection from the last summit Murdock Peak into Lambs canyon is no established trail and requires some bushwhacking.
