I had submitted my PhD qualifying exam that day in the morning and had a strong feeling to get out of town! I drove all the way over to Great Basin NP from Salt Lake City. Beautiful run in quite a bit of smokey air! The views still did not disappoint. The trail was completely empty, which helped to move fast and try to run against heavy wind.
I started running at 3:33 pm (Nevada time) and finished at 4:57pm, total time 1 hr 24 min 45 seconds. Strava seems to have some issues in the exact time. I took a video an added a screenshot of it to proof the time on the summit, but in the activity log, it took some of the distance out and reports 1:22 as elapsed time.
I hope it still counts, given that I really put the effort in at the end to beat the 1:27.
