FKT: Chantal Demers - Coastal Alvar Red Loop - 2022-07-29

The Alvar Coastal Red Trail is a pretty cool trail. It's fairly remote, but definitely worth checking it out this Provincial Park. The geological features along the coast are like nothing I've experienced before. I hiked the trail with Jamieson the day before as part of our recon. At 10:06AM on this day however, I took off running solo, determined to get a fast time. I knew the trail wasn't very technical, and I wanted to prove to myself that I still had some speed left in my legs. This was my second FKT of the day. I have never attempted 2 FKTs in a day before, but given the opportunity, I jumped on it. Overall it went very well. I didn't have any navigational issues, and paced it just right. I was very happy with my time.
