Made the familiar 2hr drive up from home to hopefully get my redemption on this loop. It was a cooler day than last year, but still really humid. I was absolutely drenched by the end. I carried all of my nutrition (actually didn't eat much of it), gatarade and my water filter to get water from natural sources along the way.
All and all, it was much more enjoyable experience without getting a calf injury. I'm glad I got to better my time by over 30 minutes+.
I recommend this loop. It's got a variety of terrain, with some fast sections if you got good leg turnover. AND it's always a good day when you get to be on the Bruce Trail ;)
