Very fun route.
Scree slopes were pretty slippery on the ups and downs, and the trail splintered a few times which resulted in more than one missed turn which I had to backtrack from (total time cost less than 5min). I had to use my hands basically the whole time once I hit the steep ascent coming out of the pass into the rocks, so if you are bringing nutrition I advise liquid calories only. I also scuffed up my hands a bit and would have benefited from a lightweight pair of gloves for protection, confidence, and marginal speed gains. Very few sections are truly dangerous and exposed, but to a mountain-newbie like me, the ones that were felt a bit scary.
Most of my problems on this adventure were to be expected as this was my first time on Ross.
