Started 5:35am on Sat 12/04/2025, Garry and I set off from Pill, Bristol following the trail to Bath.
There weren’t any very clear markings but pretty easy to follow and if using the All Trails App.
The first section consisted of tarmac, then dirt trails, and then a bit of urban running through Bristol before a long section on trails next to the river which came with loads of bugs! Ended with about 5/6miles on tarmac canal. Lovely, sunny day for it. Brilliant day out.
We did it unsupported, carrying our water and food with us all the way from start to finish.
It’s a great route, but be ready for some bush whacking, bugs, and if it’s rained then all the mud and bogs.
