Cache Dash Traverse on a hot day! Solo adventure, starting in Garaman Park in Jackson and running the standard, unsupported route up Josie’s across to Snow King to Skyline. Then off-trail bushwhacking for miles and miles, great views from the ridge but smoky from nearby fire. Up to Cache Peak and water filter from small creek. Started to get quite hot and buggy past Nowlin Peak and just kept moving to avoid the biting flies. Topped out on Crystal Butte and down the standard trail to Nelson TH, Nobody out in the 90+degree F day. All in all a fun day on a great route but will pick a cooler day next time! Strava did a weird straight line thing at the end. So also attached Gaia GPS file. I turned off Strava at the TH and Gaia off about 30 seconds later as I was collapsed in the shade.
