I hadn't been above 5800m for about 3 weeks prior to this effort. I also got sick twice in that amount of time and wasn't able to train or scout the route properly. I was able to get some gear stashed at C1 and made this happen. I could go sub 6hr on the ascent with proper acclimation and training. AKA not sitting on a toilet for days.. It was a good send off for the Himalayan Fall season regardless.
