Chris Mak’s TRIP REPORT :

Running Top Ten Highest Peaks in Hong Kong Start: 21:25 23March 2020 Monday Finish: 13:22:09 24March Tuesday

With over 7.5 million residents of various nationalities in a 1,104-square-kilometre (426 sq mi) territory, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated places in the world.  We proudly set aside 40% of land for Country parks and nature reserves. As such hiking is a popular activity attracting many tourists from all over the world. On March 23 and 24, 2020, I completed running the Top Ten Highest Peaks unsupported. The total distance was 49.83 km and duration 15 hours 57 minutes and 9 seconds. Elevation gained was 3430 metres, using 1653 calories (Kcal). I completed the course running alone without any rest. I carried my water, without need for food.
