A bitterly cold day when we attempted this route. Left a car in Scartho (Grimsby) and set off through the housing estates. The route was either a muddy quagmire or frozen solid ground comprising either of ice or compacted snow. The views were beautiful all the way round - an astoundingly sunny and clear day. Finished in Louth and ended up at a very busy pub for a well earned dinner.
