Description

The Silver Lincs Way is a long distance footpath in Lincolnshire which links the towns of Grimsby and Louth. It follows footpaths, bridleways and quiet lanes through woodland and across rolling wolds. The rural walk was created by Grimsby/Louth group of The Ramblers’ Association in celebration of their Silver Jubilee. From the beginning in Scartho on the southern outskirts of Grimsby the route heads in a southerly direction to Louth via Barnoldby le Beck, Brigsley, Ashby Cum Fenby, East Ravendale, Wold Newton, Beesby, Cadeby Park, Wyham, Ludborough Vale, North Elkington, Welton Vale and Hubbard's Hills. Many of the habitations on the route are on or close to the site of Medieval villages.
