FKT: Christian Fitzpatrick - Salmon River - Green Canyon Loop - 2022-06-26

Set out to tackle this route after reading the previous record holders' report.  In all honesty not much went right, a late start lead to crowds and high temperatures. I set out with 5 hours worth of gels and water and made my way up the route. The condition of the trail worsen sharply after the fire lookout and almost halted progress at times due to getting over the multitude of tree falls and overgrowth. The route can be done in much faster time and I hope others try to do so. Eeking in the record by a couple minutes when I didnt have to deal with snow like the others shows that the time can be greatly reduced. Get at it runners!
