One week after my wife put in the effort, I also wanted to run this "signature" round for our stay here in the Apuan Alps. I started in Retignano to make sure to do the parts I did not run before in fair weather conditions. As expected, it got quity rainy after roughly 4 hours in. A beautiful and diverse tour through many Tuscan villages, mostly on singletrails which are sometimes easy, sometimes quite rocky and technical. Carina accompanied me for the first few kilometers and could help me with a confusing fork in the path shortly before reaching Volegno :)
