The "calm" after the evening thunderstorms made for a beautiful setting. I was able to reach the summit just as the sun was going down and between the clouds, smoke in the air, and high elevations it made for an incredible sunset. I lost light as I entered the trees on the way back down and had to turn my headlamp on.
