Around the Top Ridge Traverse July 16th. Started around 9:15 am and finished around 6:00 pm. Felt good for the bulk of the day, but started fading around Thunder Mountain when my food was running out. I followed the gpx as closely as I could to hit all 16 peaks. Solo run. Came off of the ridge to filter water from Winnemucca Lake and a snow patch below Fourth of July Peak. Carried 2L water which was just enough between the spots I filtered from. Brought climbing shoes for the Sentinels but didn’t end up using them. Still plenty of room for people to go faster. Awesome route for touring so much of Kirkwood!
