We set off on our unsupported FKT attempt at 7:05 am. The weather was chilly in the morning but we warmed up very quickly. Our aim was to run under 3 hours, which we achieved with a reasonable buffer. It was harder than I was expecting though. Overall, it was executed well, with the first lap taking us a bit over 1hr 26minutes and the second almost identical with just over 1hr 27minutes. We carried all food and water with us.
