Description

Belair National Park is a protected area located at Belair in South Australia, 13 kilometres south of Adelaide city centre and which covers an area of 835 hectares. It was proclaimed in 1891 and was the first national park in South Australia, second in Australia and the tenth in the world.

The double loop starts with a lap of the park followed by a second lap in the opposite direction with a slight detour to run for a while along the railway track that runs through the park. It has a variety of terrain with a number of challenging uphill sections. While running the route you are likely to see koalas, kangaroos, kookaburras and emus.
