On 6/3/22, I started the Wilson River Traverse at 7:06 AM on a beautiful, green luscious day. I started the run with my good friend, Keely who paced me for the first 20ish miles. My partner met us at 12 miles + half way (and reverse) when he picked up Keely and for me to finish the 20ish miles back. The last 10 miles were a bit punchy with some climbing but overall, digestible with easy access to crew. The minor route change from the original route was Jones Creek Bridge is close and forest service has re-routed it through the woods. I had the best cheer squad of my dogs dressed up as this also happens to fall on my birthday. This weekend was chosen to as a way to honor Women who FKT kick off weekend and attempt to help encourage as many women as possible to set FKT's.
