Made an early start from Fortlands, Basseterre, jogged down to the waterfront on Bay Road, and took the established route CCW, Unsupported.  Vest carried 4 Bottles (Hummingbird Fuels, Precision Hydration,) 2 Bananas, 2 Pickle juice Shots and Numerous Gels (SIS Beta, Never Second, Honey Stinger).  Climb up to Cayon was notable, for a flatlander, and from then on it was a series of rolling hills and being extra careful of traffic; as the day went on and the roads got busier.  Every driver on the road was very friendly, and did their best to give way as much as possible. Lots of friendly "good mornings" passing through all the towns and villages along the way.  A few folks were incredulous when i told them my intent.  As this effort was unsupported, there were a few "out and backs" for supplies (on the supported route previously established) that i was able to forgo. I held a steady pace through a majority of the miles, but as the day heated up, supplies and water were diminishing.  There were no supply cashes, or stops for water or fuel, and I completed the loop by returning back to Bay Rd, nearest to the Basseterre-Charlestown Ferry terminal.
