My legs were pretty shot from setting a benchmark up and down Camel’s Hump two days ago, but knew that this one would be more about technique and endurance (things I’ve got in reserve), and today was the last window of opportunity I had to get it done before leaving Vermont. Really cool route! It had been raining earlier in the day and it was misty, so the rocks were slick but at least it wasn’t too warm temperature wise and nobody else was on the trails. Only managed to sneak under previous time by less than 4min. I look forward to seeing what folks can throw down on this, should be able to shave off considerable time on a crisp day in the fall, with fresh legs.
