Icing on the back-to-back-back long run cake today, gorgeous out on the Holyoke range and wow these trails are tough. I started at the notch & did the east section first, then the west. May not be eligible for FKT due to the non-standard start & finish points. Typically people start at one end of the range; I started right in the middle mostly so I could re-supply at my car. What a lovely bonus that there was water at the Summit House, so I had plenty to drink.
Felt surprisingly fresh, considering the 40+ miles I ran over the weekend! I think my body was essentially like: ok, this is what we do now. Slow & steady! Got a bit fatigued near mile 19ish, and one knee hurt a little but I made it through unscathed. Watch died less than a mile to the finish, oops
