Me and Bethany Perri Set out to set the Hoodlebug trail FKT for the one way and out and back today as a mixed gender team. It was a near perfect weather type running day. Around 60 degrees at the start with a overcast and about 70 with overcast when we were done. This was the first 60 degree morning of the year. Lot of people on the trail id say 50 or more. We started at mile 0 which is Saylor Park side of the trail. We touched the yellow gate that in the pictures. The yellow gate is right beside the road where the trail begins and should be how the FKT starts. We turned around at the far at which is about 10.5 miles i got 10.46 today as we touched the stop sign and hoodlebug sign at the end of the trail and got 20.93 total as we touched the yellow gate as we finished up. We used Sheetz in Homer City for support today so that why we are submitting the FKT as supported. The sewage plant did have its nice smell going as we ran by it. was a bit of a struggle on the way back i know i didnt drink enough liquids and around mile 16 i was feeling fatigued.
Elevation was 761 feet.
Took us 1:31:41 on the way out. With 3:01:37 total for the out and back.
