Was very rough. I started about 3 pm and it was about 88-89 degrees and humid. I was gonna for it no matter what even with the heat and humidity. Did wet down my clothes and hat before i started stashed some water as well to grab. The trail seemed more rooty today then i t did last time i ran it. Went out super fast trying to bank time before the hills started. Was roughly a minute under pace pro before the hills started. Thats also when i went downhill. The first hill is off a straight stretch and its a very sharp left hand turn. Its also a grassy hill. The incline and humidity killed me. i had walk some up it. I wasnt just wet form water i poured on myself but was drenched in sweat. I was dripping everywhere. Every little incline took way more energy out of me then it should have. I was struggling bad. 3 miles in i was 8 seconds over pace pro plan and felt as though was falling behind i did lose 1:08 time overall from where i was. I pushe don wanting to quit. Told myself make it to mile 4 and go from there. I did have to stop once completely for what felt like minutes but in reality was probably only 10 seconds. i was done and 100% redlined and gagging from going to hard. somehow recovered and pushed on. not sure if i was over or under my plan at mile 4 but kept going hard again. as i did feel a little better. Still was battling hard for anything my body would give me. Tried to do math in my head as i ran to see if id be under or not. I didnt want to reach across body to switch screens that would have told me. I came in red hot. and managed to beat my previous records. I forgot stop watch right away since i was dying but i stills topped it in time to be under record time. The grass was high along the trail in alot of spots which made it even hotter. The dirt sections were there was no grass felt so much nicer.  but got it done barely but did it. I do regret  running it in such hot temps it really took a toll on me. least i know i can lower it in more favorable temps.
