Todays challenge was to Loop the Lough.
Leaving Newry @8am (in continuous rain) I ran 17.79 miles to the Carlingford Lough Ferry terminal at Greencastle. 11am ferry was 20 mins rest on the way over. From Greenore Ferry Terminal I ran 15.59 miles back to Newry. I made my way around to Carlingford. From Carlingford I joined the Greenway to Omeath. Back on the road again from Omeath to Victoria Lock where I joined the Greenway again for the last 4 miles.
All in I ran 33.33 miles (52.97kms) with very little let up from constant rain, but I really enjoyed seeing the entire Carlingford Lough in this way.
