Very enjoyable challenge around the Surrey hills.
I opted to create a new route mixing in elements of the previous attempts and the most popular trails on Strava. Ended up being almost all trails and only a few kms of road, with not having to run back on the same trail that often.
Started just outside of Dorking so I could get most of the people/car traffic out of the way early. Managed to catch the end of the parkrun around the wine estate before going up and over box hill. The route enabled a sharp climb followed by an easier descent, which was ideal. Leith Hill from the angle taken ends up being a very long slog rather than sharp climbing. This was followed by a fast descent then up a steep climb for the third peak. Getting back to the start was all downhill, which was nice that barring disaster I had the FKT in the bag.
Thanks for creating the route!
