Love the Davis Path and thought this FKT was very doable and that I could hike the whole thing, visit all the side peaks on the Davis Path and take lots of photos. And that's exactly what I did and really enjoyed myself until Lakes of the Clouds. In my planning however, I neglected to realize how slow the upper part (and some of the lower part) of the Dry River Trail is. Tons of blow downs, and lots of erosion. It's a rugged trail for sure. So I ended up having to run the last 6-7 miles with my backpack on. But it was gorgeous and I highly recommend this route!
