The North Face athlete Elsey Davis started her supported attempt at the Circuit of Cornwall FKT at 05:08:30 on Monday 29th September 2025 and finished at 13:20:30 on Sunday 5th October 2025. She started and finished at the Land's End signpost and completed a clockwise circuit of the loop, first heading north along the Cornish section of the South West Coast Path, then taking the Tamara Coast to Coast Way from Marsland Mouth to Plymouth, and finishing heading west back along the South West Coast Path.

The attempt took place under mixed weather conditions. The first few days were surprisingly warm and dry with very little wind. The final few days were wet and windy, as Storm Amy closed in (Days 5 and 6 were particularly tough, with 40-50mph winds throughout). Each day Elsey started running at approximately 05:00, and finished running between 17:00 and 19:00.

Support was provided by a 5-person crew utilising 4 vehicles. Vehicle 1 was a campervan, which provided food/water and is where Elsey slept during the majority of the challenge, This was manned by Chris Taylor (head of logistics) and Jonny Heath (physio). Vehicle 2 was a media vehicle, manned by Matt Stone (videographer). Vehicle 3 was another media vehicle, manned by Will Harper-Penrose (photographer). Vehicle 4 was a campervan, manned by Elsey's partner Sarah Whyman.

Elsey had support runners throughout most of her FKT attempt, who carried water and food for her (and sometimes opened gates!). The main support runners were Chris Taylor and Jonny Heath. Elsey was also joined by her partner Sarah (who completed 60km on Day 4!), as well as her family and friends (particularly on Days 1, 6 and 7), and a few welcome strangers each day.

Where possible, Elsey finished at ferry crossings each day (and was driven round to the other side by the support vehicle), to minimise our dependency on ferry schedules (the Place to St Mawes, St Mawes to Falmouth, and Helford River ferries were all cancelled due to Storm Amy anyway, so Elsey was driven around these water crossings).

Elsey's final time was 6 days 8 hours 12 minutes 00 seconds.
