We set out on the Zoar Loop Trail, beginning from the designated parking lot at 9:53 AM, with a liter of water each.
The trail was well-marked with blue blazes, which we followed around the entire loop. The overcast skies and misty conditions created a serene and slightly eerie atmosphere, adding to the beauty of the hike.
Throughout the loop, we encountered a few other hikers, but overall, the trail was fairly quiet, making for a peaceful experience. The combination of damp air and soft light filtering through the trees enhanced the natural surroundings.
