Figured it was time someone got the ladies' FKT party started on the Keyhole route. One of my favorite trails of all time! I started a little before 5:30am and ran all the way to the Chasm Lake junction (58 min), then kept cruising up through the boulders, but slowed way down once I got to the backside of the Keyhole. It had rained the night before, and everything from the ledges, the trough, the narrows, the homestretch, etc. were all coated in sneaky verglass, which made both the ascent and descent a bit spicy, also slow. (Wish I hadn't forgotten my gloves!) I hit the summit at 2hrs 45min. Once I got back to the Keyhole, I ran all the way back down to the trailhead without any issues, except for looots of hikers on the trail. Looking forward to heading back up again with better conditions! Let's goooo ladies!
