Tough day because of the high heat/humidity. Got out a little early, but the heat still got to me by the end. Trail conditions were great. Black Cap Connector trail was a little wet, but still very runnable. All the slabs were pretty dry too. Started out with 34 oz of water and ended up filtering more at a stream on Hurricane Mountain Rd. There are a lot of sources of water to choose from all throughout the route. Consumed about 400 calories total and carried everything in a Salomon vest. Was happy with my splits up until Keasarge North. Just lost some steam summiting those last peaks.
