A tough route with a lot of climbing and insane views of Paloma and Altar. I’ll have to come back and climb those peaks next time I’m in Santiago. Kept it pretty easy, as I’m trying to save my legs for Patagonia. I think the scree in some spots made it harder to go down than up. Brought 1L water, 2 CarbsFuel gels, and 2 protein bars.
