Malinche is a great pit-stop on the way to higher peaks in Mexico. Chris and I did not set out for the FKT, but when we were making good time to the summit we thought that we'd give it a go. If you like steep climbs, you will love this trail! We were joined by some feral dogs up there and treated to great views of the volcano Popocatépetl erupting.
