This was the highest peak I had ever climbed! I started before Chris and Tyler and we staggered our efforts. My goal for the day was to maintain a steady, consistent pace and not go out too hard on the road to Tejos. Overall, I felt pretty good throughout the day. The conditions and temps were beautiful. We could have not asked for more perfect conditions (I attribute our luck to the Steve bird we saw on our drive in). Spent 5 mins at the summit soaking in the great views of Tres Cruces and the rest of the Atacama. I think I can still shave off time in the future now that I am familiar with the mountain. Round-trip time was 4:41:06.
