FKT: Erin Ton - Ptarmigan Peak (CO) - 2021-07-27

Solo Ptarmigan Peak ascent. Got a relatively early start to beat the heat. Almost missed the turnoff on the right that takes you the direct way up Ptarmigan. Could have probably shaved a minute off if it weren't for this. For those considering this route in the future, note that the actual turn is just past where it is shown on strava/ alltrails maps. A few fallen trees. No food, brought 500mL of water but didn't drink- too busy running. Still lots of wildflowers out and great views of the Gore range!
