Oh man where do I even begin with this one... this route resulted in me having to go to the hospital. With about a mile to go, I tripped on a limestone boulder and fell into said rock + a cactus. One of the hardest falls I have ever taken whilst trail running. I pulled out the majority of the thorns there and had to just hobble back to the trailhead. It goes without saying that it would have been faster otherwise. Cool route I guess but it involves a lot of off-trail running on sharp limestone rock, so go into it heeding caution. Brought 1 waffle, which I ate on the summit of Gottlieb and 500mL water.
