Solo, unsupported run up and down Thompson Peak (highest in the Sawtooths). I brought a light jacket, 500mL water, and a couple gels up there with me. I had scouted this two days prior to learn the route. The trail is fairly straightforward, but I'm glad I scouted it because I learned to turn immediately left once you hit the upper saddle onto the ridge. It is much more efficient than the standard route up which wraps around and tacks on some extra mileage. I felt strong on the trail, but had a relatively slower pace through the boulder fields and the slabs. Overall, I am happy with the effort. The women's unsupported time was over 6 hours and the women's supported time was over 5 hours so I knew there was lots of room to shave off and I wanted to put down a more competitive women's time. I think there is still room to shave off more. Get after it!! There are beautiful views up there.
