Signed in and departed the Ranger station at Roaring Brook Campground at 0740 on Sunday May 27. Helon Taylor was the only open trail on that side of the mountain because of the deep snow left in the basin. After climbing Keep Ridge and crossing the Knifes Edge, I passed the southern Baxter Peak and arrived to Baxter Peak in approximately 2 hours and 12 minutes. After a few quick photos I retraced the same route back to sign out at the Ranger station at 1137.
