Report

Beautiful day in the mountains around Lenzerheide. Great course and experience, speed was easy, but the length of the run was a good challenge for me (my longest alpine run so far).

Weather: sunny, 20-25 degrees in the valley

Equipment: trail backpack, poles, spare jacket, 0.8 l iso beverage, 7 gels, 7 granola bars

I started around 9:45 am at the lake and always followed the given gpx track. At first, I went up to Lenzerhorn, the highlight of the route, a bit chossy, but nice grade 1 scrambling to the top. Afterwards the trail leads on very easy hiking trails up to Rothorn. The last long ascent in the sun up to Stätzerhorn was strenuous, afterwards the trail is very flowy until the end. After a gentle start in the first half, I did the second half of the course in a bit faster pace. I filled up water 3 times on openly accessible sources, after the Stätzerhorn climb I ran out of water (there is no source anymore).
