Unsupported FKT
We (Jonas and Freddy) ran the whole trail together. We carried all our supplies by ourselves (about 0.5 l of water and 4 gels per person).
It was a very nice experience doing the trail together as friends and in our home region on the Swabian Alb. The weather was a bit wet and muddy but not too bad, temperature was perfect around 14 C.
We always kept following the official gpx track. In Bad Urach it would be better to take the pedestrian undercrossing to the train station than crossing the very busy main road. The only big climb is in the beginning from Bad Urach, after its very flowy with only smaller climbs. As always on the Albsteig, the trail includes some very nice flow trails following the rim of the Alb. On this stage, there are also some longer stretches on gravel or narrow paved roads included. Start and finish of the trail are well connected by train and bus.
Its a first time set for this very nice course, feel welcome and try to beat it ! :-)
