I parked at the Greenock Cut Visitors and left my car, and headed off about 0730.
It was -4 when I started, so I was keen to get moving. It was very picturesque though. I soon heated up.
I ran the route alone, however I met a mate when I was 5 miles in-he was also heading to the star my line!
I used my running pack so had plenty food and water with me.
Whilst it’s set up as a walking route, it is very runnable, and thoroughly enjoyable.
